October 9 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU in dual degree program between Zaporizhzhya National University and the University du Maine held the first in this academic year videoconference on sociolinguistics and language variation.
Lecture for students held Od Bretenye - lecturer of the Department of Methodology of teaching French as a Foreign Language of the University du Maine (France). French lecturer beforehand prepared and sent to our students supporting summary. Therefore, students of 4th and 5th years of the specialty "French Language and Literature" took an active part in the discussion on the use of language in different situations in order to communicate in professional and social topics. It should be noted that this information, which received students during a lecture will be useful to them while preparing for passing the crediting test of discipline "Sociolinguistics", which will be held in winter.
This form of training within the dual master's degree diploma in "French Language and Literature" is not new, in fact the fifth consecutive year, our students have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the specialty and communicate with French lecturers of the University Du Maine via videoconferencing.
Next video conference, devoted to evaluation of quality of the knowledge within the discipline «Evaluation», held on November 12.
