Representatives of ZNU participated in the International Ukrainian-Japanese Conference on Scientific and Industrial Cooperation
October 24-25 at the Odessa National Polytechnic University, chaired by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yevgen Sulima held International Ukrainian-Japanese Conference on Scientific and industrial cooperation. The event dealt with the problem of intellectual property, technology transfer, involving public and private national and foreign investment in university research, perspectives and ways to promote innovation in production and so on.
The conference began opening exhibition of scientific achievements in higher education. Nearly 70 universities in Ukraine presented scientist, business representatives, Japanese businessmen and industrialists a significant scientific and technological achievements - the results of their research. Scientific research of ZNU at the exhibition launch by young scientists of Physical (Sergei Tomilin, Alexander Menyaylo), Mathematics (Maxim Davidovsky) and Biological (Evgen Gorokhovsky) Faculties.
Exhibition of Zaporizhzhya National University sparked interest among exhibitors - researchers, industrialists and officials. In particular, exhibition 
pavilion of ZNU visitedDeputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yevgen Sulima, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Fujiki Kanji, Chairman of the State Department of Intellectual Property Ukraine Mykola Kovinya, Rectors and Vice-Rectors of higher educational institutions, etc.
Scientific-research department thanks the supervisors presented at the exhibition of scientific developments: Professors Vladimir Volkov, Valery Mishchenko, Ludmilla Omelyanchik, Sergei Gomenyuk, Alexander Rylsky, associate professors Andrei Andreev, Vadim Ermolayev, Alexander Yanovsky for a high scientific level and a decent representation of the scientific potential of ZNU.
