The team of Zaporizhzhya region took the first place on Championship of Ukraine in sports aerobics among universities
On Saturday, October 19, in Zaporizhzhya at the sports complex of ZNTU held the championship of Ukraine 2013 in sports aerobics among higher educational institutions of 3rd-4th levels of accreditation. As always - powerfully and clearly - was the team of Zaporizhzhya region university, which included distinguished students-sportsmen of Zaporizhzhya National University.
The team under the leadership of coaches Elena Chernenko (Candidate of Science in Physical Education, senior lecturer of the Department of OPS) and Boris Kokarev (Honored Coach of Ukraine, ZNU postgraduate of 2nd year study) not left to competitors any chance in the category of aerial dance and was second among sports teams. Just a few tenths of separated the runner-up, a group of ZNU from cherished gold medals. Third place in a modern-around force «Strnflex» got experienced Igor Davydenko (Faculty of Physical Education).
And as a result - team of Zaporizhzhya region took a deserved first team place at a distance from the nearest competitors, team of Sumy region, more than 100 points.
It is worth noting that among the team members were not only students of the Faculty of Physical Education. Besides Evgeniya Fedorina, Diana Sushko, Anastasia Cherniavska, Eugenia Ossetianska and Alla Gordienko, representatives of the faculty, received the gold medal championship Krystyna Lugovska (Faculty of SPP), Diana Babkina (Faculty of Law), Svetlana Ostrogliad (Faculty of Biology).
