In Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting of report-election conference of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates. According to the agenda of the event, the participants not only heard the report of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates for the previous academic year and elected a new chairman of the Society, but also reviewed the proposed changes to be made to the provisions of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU and approved the plan for its future work. Also present at the conference - the Heads of faculty departments of ZNU, student delegates from each ZNU Faculty, special guests of the event - Vice-Rector Victor Gristchak, Head of scientific-research department Victoriya Menyaylo, Deans and their Deputies for Research - familiarized with the presentation of the Coordinating Council of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of Zaporizhzhya National University.
In the beginning of the event Vice-Rector for Science and Research Victor Gristchak addressed the participants of the conference with welcoming remarks. Victor Zakharovych said that it is not the first time participating in such events organized by student research asset, so can say with certainty that it is thanks to the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates, scientific student life of ZNU greatly revived in recent years. Also Victor Gristchak on behalf of the administration wished to young researchers new achievements and accomplishments on their chosen way.
To continue the conference host of the event – Deputy Head of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU, Head of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the Faculty of Management Maryna Pasenko – gave the floor to Head of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the University in the years 2012-2013 Kseniya Myasnyankina. Kseniya reported on the main achievements of the Society for the previous academic year: the participation of its members in a multi-level conferences and roundtable discussions, establishing active cooperation with other scientific societies, universities, participation of all, without exception faculties of ZNU in environmental action "Ekolayt" release 37 number of informational bulletin "A young scientist, "etc..
Kseniya also spoke about the changes proposed to the Regulations of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU. In particular were asked to include provisions in a clear statement of purpose and objectives of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates, to prescribe uniform rules for all faculties regarding the nomination, election and dismissal of heads of Faculties Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates, to keep the document request of obligatory cooperation with other departments of the Society of the University, including the Department of International Relations and working with international students and others.
Next was elected new Head of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates. Acting unanimously on this post were elected Acting Head of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU, Head of Faculty of Physics Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates Valentyna Kucheruk. In her campaign Valentyna among future priorities of the Society called the increase in information work, involving members of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates to career-oriented university, a series of training techniques of writing research papers, dating freshmen with successful young scientists and output of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates on an international level.
Valentyna also presented the plan of the Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU of this academic year. This document included more than 200 multi-level scientific events organizers or participants which will be our students and graduate students. She urged all participants to take an active part in the academic life of the University.
The event ended with the presentation of the Coordinating Council of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of ZNU, prepared by Head of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates of the Faculty of Mathematics Anastasiya Subota. Anastasia showed slides of photographs of all members of the Coordination Council and heads of departments of the Society and faculty divisions and short reference about scientific activities of each.
Participants of the event on behalf of the Coordinating Council of Scientific Community of Students and Postgraduates thanked for their cooperation and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation of all young scientists of the University.
