In ZNU held an opening ceremony of the TV studio and complex editing

November 1 in Zaporizhzhya National University held an opening ceremony of the TV studio and complex editing, organized within the project "Digital media at the universities of Ukraine" of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "Development of Ukraine".

The solemn event was attended by Director of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "Development of Ukraine" Anatoliy Zabolotnyj, Head of "Modern Education" Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "Development of Ukraine" Alexander Vlasenko, Deputy Head of Secondary, Junior School, of Nursery School and Extracurricular Education Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of ZODA Ivan Yurchenko, Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Volodymyr Manakin, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Journalism Victor Kostyuk, Head of TV journalism training laboratory Alla Ternova and specialists in this structure, teachers and students of our university of the Faculty of Journalism and local mass media.
Project implementation "Digital Media in Universities" Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation began in autumn 2011. This is - the continuation of the program fund "Digital Future of Journalism", but the purpose of this project - to provide knowledge about the future of new media journalists - students of Ukrainian universities. Implementation of plans fund includes not only training for teachers from local universities of a new specialization with leading international experts, but also the creation of educational television studios with modern technical equipment at the bases of Ukrainian universities. Zaporizhzhya National University was the third university - after Kiev-Mohyla Academy and Institute of Journalism at Kyiv National University of Taras Shevchenko - who got a new modern equipment under the project. The result - our university took the opportunity to teach journalism students by world standards.
During the celebrations marking the opening of TV studio and complex editing Deputy Head of Secondary, Junior School, of Nursery School and Extracurricular Education Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of ZODA Ivan Yurchenko noted: «It is important that modernization of the national education helps exactly Ukrainian, not foreign capital. Only investing in education, we can expect the development of our country in accordance with international standards».
Director of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "Development of Ukraine" Anatoliy Zabolotnyj told the present at the event about the task that set themselves Foundation representatives "Development of Ukraine", opening new television studio at the bases of the Faculty of Journalism: «We can say that we have created a new profession – multimedia journalist. We have developed an appropriate professional passport and have achieved, so that it became a national classification of occupations. And when they began to engage in retraining journalists practitioners have realized that it is necessary to begin train specialists of this sector with a student days. Then their level of preparation will not only respond all of our requirements, but also slightly surpass them.
We started to teach modern media technology university teachers. One of the first to the program joined teachers of the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University Myroslav Chabanenko and Nataliya Vygovska. Then, in the evaluation of learning outcomes during the visit of the fund to your university, Zaporizhzhya National University, has established itself as one of the best participants. The next logical step was the organization of workshops for students of ZNU from leading media practitioners. As a result of communication were satisfied both coaches and students themselves. So it is not surprising that exactly on the basis of your university opened a modern TV studio».
Head of "Modern Education" Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "Development of Ukraine" Alexander Vlasenko in his welcoming speech highlighted: «It is hard to overestimate this step in the project "Digital media in universities. "It should be noted that the opening of the studio was made possible through collaboration with the University, which is always willingly went to meet us and contributed to the implementation of this program into practice".
Rector of ZNU, professor Mykola Frolov emphasized: «Today's event is important not only in the life of the Faculty of Journalism, but the whole university in general. To prepare today's journalists need a modern material and technical base. In addition, it should be noted that in the framework of this project was a serious selection of ZNU, which indicates that our university is really modernized and goes to the European level. I hope that other faculties will follow the example of the Faculty of Journalism and also successfully realize their potential».
Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Volodymyr Manakin noted: «The fact that our university could pass a serious selection and enter the top five Ukrainian universities that train journalists with KPU Taras Shevchenko Institute of Journalism, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv - was a pleasant surprise for me, because we have recognized as so strong».
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Journalism Victor Kostyuk, commenting on the opening of a television studio, noted: «The second year at our faculty acts specialization "Internet journalism". It became possible because the faculty representatives Miroslava Chabanenko and Nataliya Vygovska received proper education on the basis of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation "The Future of Ukraine". Contacts between our faculty and members of the fund survived to this day. We took part in the selection of the "Digital Media in universities" and could be a winner. This made it possible to our faculty to get modern equipment».
After a solemn moment of cutting the ribbon and opening the studio participants and guests of the event, including local journalists, showed a modern television studio equipment and mounting systems. Thus Volodymyr Manakin thanked the leadership of ZNU for assistance in implementing the program, because in order to use all the features of the latest equipment in the room designated to TV studio, spent considerable architectural and construction works. Students of the Faculty of Journalism told the guests about the appointment of equipment in the control room, equipped modeled on modern television studios.
