Students of ZNU - among the winners of the regional competition "Student of the Year 2013" and scholarship holders of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration and Zaporizhzhya Regional Council
November 15 in the walls of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration was awarding the winners Zaporizhzhya regional contest "Student of the Year 2013" and students who receive scholarships of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration and Zaporizhzhya Regional Council.
Awarding of the winners this year was dedicated to the International Students' Day.
The Presidium meeting included: Deputy Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council Svitlana Abdurakchmanova, Head of Youth, Physical Education and Sports of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of ZODA Nataliya Vlasova, Deputy Head of ZODA Andriy Gamow, Rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Mykola Frolov and Rector of Zaporizhzhya National Technical University Sergiy Belikov. Members of the Presidium welcomed the participants and wished them all sorts of prosperity, optimism, health, hope, and most importantly - do not forget that they, the students are 
future of Ukraine and Zaporizhzhya region.
Andriy Gamow congratulated winners of the regional contest "Student of the Year 2013", which aims to support gifted and talented youth in our region, and showed its best representatives. The winner in the category «Student - volunteer of the Year» was 4th year student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of our university - Kateryna Baldina.
Also representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University Anatoliy Shashkov 
(4th year student of the Faculty of Law) and Dmytro Naumenko (4th year student of the Faculty of Mathematics) became scholarship holders of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration and Zaporizhzhya Regional Council in accordance.
After the awarding solemn ceremony, their perfomances presented to the audience ZNU Club of the witty and creative «Zaporizhzhya national team» and student of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University Ulyana Egorova.
During the celebrations in the hall of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council worked exhibition of 
informational materials about universities, their activities and student life of university. Informational stand of our university representing: 3rd year student of the Faculty of SPP Kateryna Zaychenko and 1st year student of the Faculty of Management Vladyslav Serdyukov.
Congratulations to our students with victory and wish them in the future with honor to defend the title of a student of Zaporizhzhya National University.
