Despite the fact that the entrance campaign in 2014 though still far in Zaporizhzhya National University today conducted a hard work for the study and form a contingent of future students of our university. Active vocational work by our university members continues not only in Zaporizhzhya but also in all areas of Zaporizhzhya region and parts of a neighboring areas. So, November 25, 2013 Head of the Preparatory Department Iryna Bakalenko made another vocational trip to schools of the Orikhiv region.
With the support of Head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Orikhiv region State Administration Mykola Samoylyk Head of the Preparatory Department of the university Iryna Bakalenko met with pupils of 9th-11th forms of Komyshuvaha School, Kirov School, Orikhiv gymnasium № 1 "Constellation", Orikhiv school № 2, Orikhiv school № 5, Preobrazhensk school, Malotokmachansk school, Myrnensk school, Nesteryansk school of the Orikhiv region.
The aim of these measures is the vocational work, that aims to help high school students in their professional self-determination, to promote their motivation up to informed choice of future profession and provide all interested current and useful information on the areas of training, the conditions for higher education and future employment prospects. Thus, during meetings Iryna Mykolayivna introduced students of 9th-11th forms with educational opportunities of the Faculties, told them about the benefits of training in ZNU, outlined the features of entrance campaign - 2014, drew attention of 11th form pupils to the changes that have taken place in the "Conditions of entry to higher education institutions in 2014". The information caused many questions that were provided a thorough answers. Also, all would like to receive information booklets of the university and faculties.
Particular attention is paid to future entrants need for a high-quality preparation to External Independent Evaluation tests. Head of the Preparatory Department said that ZNU can help today's high school students to learn the curriculum material better and subsequently become a students of Zaporizhzhya National University. Pupils were proposed to study at the preparatory courses that will last until May and will allow for substantial knowledge to help adapt psychologically up to study in the university. Also, future entrants invited in March 2014 to visit the free trial training in all subjects of External Independent Evaluation tests, which held the sixth consecutive year at ZNU.
Pupils of the Orikhiv region and their teachers revealed considerable interest of received information.
