At the Law Faculty of ZNU held a roundtable discussion on "Administrative proceedings and the role of judges in it"

November 29 at the Faculty of Law of ZNU held a roundtable discussion on "Administrative proceedings and the role of judges in it" led by Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, professor Tetyana Kolomoyets.

The event was attended by students of the law Faculty of 2nd-4th years as well as 5th year students and students of magistracy of full and part-time departments. Participants of the roundtable discussion invited lecturers of the faculty, and practicing lawyers working in the field of justice: judges of Zaporizhzhya Regional Administrative Court Nechypurenko Olexander, Kateryna Nedashkivska, Inna Shara, judge of Zavodsky District Court of Zaporizhzhya, Ph.D. Ruslan Sinyelnik, head of the Commercial Court of Zaporizhzhya region Olexander Nemchenko and assistant judge of the Appeal Court of Zaporizhzhya region Volodymyr Nemchenko.
The event attended by representatives of other universities in Ukraine - famous scientists, experts in administrative law: Doctor of Law, Professor of Odessa National University of I.I.Mechnikov Olexandr Mykolenko and Ph.D. in Law, aassociate professor of the National University "Law Academy of Yaroslav Mudry" Valentyna Zuy, which elaborated on existing theory of administrative justice issues "discretion of the judge", value for "administrative proceedings" with related concepts, generalizations of the results of comparative legal studies on the formation of convince the judge.
Law practitioners in their reports highlighted the duties of a judge, the role and importance of discretion and internal beliefs when making judicial decisions. Among the students a lively discussion provoked some practical aspects of specified issue, the factors influencing the judge's opinion. As a result of the roundtable discussion was formulated and a number of changes to the existing Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine and several other regulatory legal acts.
