November 29 in 8th academic building of ZNU occurred a report and anniversary concert of choreographic studio «D.A.L.S.» "Dance as lifestyle". The organizers of the event were representatives from the Centre of cultural and mass work of ZNU and choreographic studio «D.A.L.S.».
The hosts of the event – artistic director of the Centre of cultural and mass work Andriy Bondarenko and student of philological faculty, member of studio of colloquial genre "STEM MS" Yuliya Cheboray – in their greeting decoded the name of the popular ZNU choreographic studio without participants of which couldn't exist any significant event in the cultural life of our university: «D.A.L.S.» - is an abbreviation of the phrase «Dance as life style».
During the concert hosts also mentioned about the history of this group: it begins in the 90s of the twentieth century, when the Palace of Culture "AvtoZAZ" was based the team of folk dance "Kozachata Sich" under the direction Olexander Matesha. Teachers of choreography of "Kozachata" were Svitlana and Tetyana Matesha, and the head of the youth group – Olena Semilet. It is on the basis of this group was created dance studio of the Centre of cultural and mass work of Zaporizhzhya National University «D.A.L.S.».
Honored guests of the event - Olexander, Svitlana and Tatyana Matesha - with Director of the Center of cultural and mass work of ZNU Yuliya Yanko welcomed the participants of their choreographic studio Head Iryna Vasylenko, who for the past five years headed «D.A.L.S.», with the anniversary of team and was awarded with Certificates of Merit of the Rector of ZNU.
During the concert, participants of «D.A.L.S.» demonstrated their talents and repertoire diversity of studio they performed and the lyrics and incendiary dances and folk dances. Each performance was accompanied by a sincere applause.
In addition, the concert program included performances of members of the vocal studio "Kantylena" of the Center of cultural and mass work of ZNU Dariya Rupasova, Alisa Kryvoshyeyeva, Anna Solovieva, Nataliya Onyshkevych, Evgene Slavytsky and others. The songs in their performance also involved choreographic performances of participants of «D.A.L.S.».
During the event, not only mentioned the merits of the team, but also sounded a lot of warm words addressed to its dancers and suggestions for new victories and achievements.
