In ZNU held a presentation of international educational programs for students of Faculty of Foreign Languages
December 5, in Zaporizhzhya National University held a presentation of international education academic exchange programs for students of 2nd-5th years of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. The event was organized by representatives of Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of international relations and work with international students and Foreign Languages Intensive Study Centre of ZNU.
In this academic year, October 15 in our university already held a presentation of international academic exchange programs for students of Faculty of Foreign Languages. However, the event was intended for first-year students, talked about opportunities of studying abroad, that are opened before freshmen.
The event was intended for senior students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, began with the perfomance of representative of the the Department of International Relations and work with foreign students Olga Pryjmenko. Her story was accompanied by a slide show in which, in particular, were given email addresses of various websites dedicated to international education programs. Olga Yuriyivna told the audience about the algorithm that should benefit those who wish to study in foreign universities, the peculiarities of the international department and the cooperation agreements that are entered into our university with foreign universities on possible academic students exchange.
Olga Pryjmenko also described the famous international academic program requirements that apply before their members, dates of applications submission and learning conditions in different countries. She invited students to handle all questions to the Department of International Relations and work with foreign students (1st academic building of ZNU, room 26), whose staff always help them.
Director of Foreign Languages Intensive Study Centre Nataliya Kostenko told the audience about the international certificate of IELTS, confirming the level of English required for participation in many foreign educational programs. Nataliya Dmytrivna said that representatives of the British Council will come to our university on May 5th, 2014, to conduct the exam in English among our students and to present the certificates. Regarding the submission of applications for participation in this exam you must refer to the end of December to the Foreign Languages Intensive Study Centre of ZNU, and approximately from February next year at the Center will hold a special course for those who wish to prepare for receiving this certificate.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, senior lecturer of English Philology Department Dariya Lazarenko shared with the students her experience from training and preparation of this exam. Also Dariya Mykolayivna asked those present at the event to share with group mates of received information in order to as much as possible students of ZNU were able to seize the offering opportunities, while participating in international academic programs.
