10 December, in a Human Rights Day, at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University with the support of Ph.D. in Law, senior lecturer of Criminal Law and Judgment Department Iryna Yen, held a roundtable discussion devoted to the problems of proof in criminal procedure.
Students of the Law Faculty Mykhaylo Shevchenko and Evgen Artemov prepared a presentation which highlighted the process of collecting, testing and evaluation of evidence revealed the essence of criteria of acceptability, reliability, relevance and value of evidences.
It is known that the burden of evidence rests primarily on government agencies and officials engaged in evidence. So, on how well the procedure will take place, it is proved the guilt or innocence of a person depends on compliance with state law and the basic principles of criminal procedure.
At the end of the event, students had the opportunity to ask the speakers and express their opinions on the complex process of evidence.
