October 13 at the Philological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held a roundtable discussion, devoted to the consideration of the famous epics of J.K. Rowling "Harry Potter".
Students together with the lecturer of Russian Philology - professors Iryna Pavlenko and associate professor Svitlana Ditkova - considered the following questions: Why do the cycle of fiction novels "Harry Potter" has become so popular; on what age audience is it intended; why do this book caused such a wave of parodies; what is the influence of interaction between film adaptation and its popularity, and others.
All participants were actively involved in the discussion of proposed questions. Also at the event discussed the other books by J.K. Rowling and some parody of "Harry Potter", including - the Russian version of writer Dmytro Yemets "Tanya Grotter". All who attended the meeting were very pleased with its progress and that learned a lot of new and interesting, connected with favorite literary work.
