At the Philological Faculty of ZNU started a regional tour of the International Competition named after Petro Yatsyk

December 19 at the Philological Faculty held an opening ceremony of the International Competition of experts of Ukrainian named after Petro Yatsyk. Overall, the event was attended by 10 students from Zaporizhzhya and region.

At the beginning of the event with a welcoming speech to the participants addressed First Vice-Rector of ZNU Olexander Bondar, Dean of Philological Faculty Tamara Khomiak and Ph.D., associate professor of Philosophy and the Social sciences and Humanities Disciplines Department of KE "Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education" of ZCC Galyna Korytska. They wished the students success and victories, and congratulated them on the Day of St. Nicholas.
The envelope with tasks was opened in front of witnesses by the participants of the contest, and than, the members of the jury were given them to students.
Performed works will evaluated the jury, which consisted of: Ph.D., professor, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tamara Khomiak (Chairman), Ph.D., associate professor of Ukrainian Language and Methodology of Teaching Professional Disciplines Department of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University Viktoriya Lipych (Vice Chairman), Methodist of KE "Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education" of ZCC Victor Korytskyy (Secretary of the Jury), Ph.D., associate professor, Head of Ukrainian Language Department of ZNU Lyubov Stovbur, Ph.D., associate professor of Ukrainian Language Departmnent Larysa Boyko and Ph.D., associate professor of Ukrainian Language Department of Melitopol Pedagogical University named after B. Khmelnytsky.
The contest involves work in 2 areas: "Philological" (3 participants) and "Non-philological" (7 participants). To fulfill the tasks contestants will have 4 hours. The results will be announced tomorrow.
