January 15 at the Biological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University within the career guidance for the fourth held in this academic year master classes for teachers of Zaporizhzhya region.
The event visited more than 30 teachers of biology and chemistry of the different schools of Zaporizhzhya region. Dean of Biological Faculty, D.Sc. in Pharmaceutics, professor Lyudmyla Omelianchik welcomed the participants in our university and outlined a plan of the seminar.
For teachers was expecting a master class from Ph.D. in Biology, associate professor of Chemistry Department of Biological Faculty Mykhaylo Zavgorodniy entitled "Analysis of the EIT-2014 in biology and chemistry", which continued Head of the Preparatory Department, associate professor Iryna Bakalenko. She told the audience about the rules for registration of students for External Independent Evaluation tests of education and gave some tips on preparing high school graduates to EIT.
The next master class held Ph.D. in Biology, associate professor of General and Applied Ecology and Zoology Department Valeriy Gorban. He talked about all the specializations of Biological Faculty, by which can get higher education future entrants, as well as prospects for further employment of Faculty graduates.
Ph.D. in Biology, associate professor of General and Applied Ecology and Zoology Department Oleksandr Korzh performed with the topic "Environmental education in teaching natural sciences", and Dean of the Faculty of Biology Lyudmyla Omelianchik told the participants of the event on modern methods in biology and chemistry, the rules for dealing with precursors and magazine design rules for their use, familiarized them with the material and technical base of the Faculty and innovative technologies used in the educational process.
Furthermore, for teachers of Zaporizhzhya region expected a tour for Zoological Museum of Biological Faculty, held by Head of the Museum Oleksandr Korotya.
It should be noted that a good tradition for the Biological Faculty were also visits of the school pupils to Zaporizhzhya region. Representatives of the Faculty conducting tours for prospective students and the University Zoological Museum, acquaint them with the material and technical basis of our university and conduct vocational work.
