In Zaporizhzhya National University continued sports contest among the teachers and staff of the university
January 29 in our university in the framework of sports contest among the teachers and staff held table tennis competition. Organizer of the sports event were representatives of sports and recreation complex of Zaporizhzhya National University
The judges of second day of sports contest were Deputy Director of sports and recreation complex of ZNU Oleksandr Petrenko (chief judge) and Head of Section of table tennis of ZNU Mykola Shchykovsky (judge).
With a welcoming speech to the participants addressed Director of sports and recreation complex Mykhaylo Protas. He thanked the participants of the competition for your interest in the University sports activities, wished them good health and success. Also, Mykhaylo Ivanovych said that in our university with the support of Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov pays special attention to promoting healthy lifestyles and sports development. 
The sports event was attended by 16 teachers and employees of our university.
Teams were divided into male and female.
As a result of fierce fighting among the winners of the women were:
1st place – Liya Halchenko (lecturer of the Department of Physical Education of the Faculty of Physical Education);
2nd place – Iryna Tkachenko (Associate Professor of Mathematical Analysis Department of the Faculty of Mathematics);
3rd place – Nataliya Ovechko (Head of the General Department of ZNU).
Among men:
1st place – Valeriy Domnich (Head of the Department of Ichthyology and Hunting of Biological Faculty);
2nd place – Ihor Lypkevych (associate professor of General and Slavic Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology);
3rd place – Yevhen Pinchuk (electrician of 4th academic building).
Director of sports and recreation complex Mykhaylo Protas congratulated the winners of the competition and awarded them certificates and medals, and Head of the Trade Union Committee of ZNU Borys Pavlovsky – valuable gifts.
We remind that tomorrow among teachers and university staff will be competitions on the indoor soccer (playing hall of sports and recreation complex of ZNU, beginning at 10.00).
