Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhya National University is expanding the boundaries of its cooperation. A new step in the establishment of the Faculty of Journalism partnership activities with other institutions of higher education was a cooperation with the American Montclair State University (http://www.montclair.edu/) of New Jersey.
Today the University Montclair is one of the largest high schools in the state and has more than 250 specialties. Among other Faculties of the university, it is also has its own school of journalism.
Since 1999 between Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of ZNU, Professor Volodymyr Manakin and scientists of this educational institution has been establishing scientific, administrative and friendly contacts. 
And today American colleagues propose cooperation for our university teachers and students. In particular known TV journalist, producer of Network Television News Steve McCartney offered to Zaporizhzhya students to communicate with students through their university "Letters from Ukraine," in which young people have told an American friends of our country, its history and national traditions. Since Montclair University also has its own television studio and radio station, future journalists will share their experience not only through communication. And in the future our students will visit New Jersey as part of educational programs.
