Ways of overcoming raidership in Ukraine were discussed at the Faculty of Law of ZNU

February 7 at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held a roundtable on "Administrative and legal regulation providing counteraction to raidership in Ukraine".

At the beginning of the event Dean of the Faculty of Law, D.Sc. in Law, professor Tetyana Kolomoets noted that this topic is very relevant today. At the the round table was attended by the Faculty of Law of ZNU, practitioners, asset of the Scientific Community of undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Law Faculty, the asset of Zaporizhzhya cell APU Students League.
Postgraduate Department of Administrative and Commercial Law Yuriy Berlach made a thorough report, in which highlighted the following issues: theoretical and legal principles counteraction to raidership in Ukraine, the mechanism of administrative and legal support for fighting to raidership in Ukraine and its improvement. The report sparked a lively discussion among teachers. Yes, those present interested how edged theme explored in the CIS, as well as the ability to borrow positive foreign experience for Ukraine. Then they discussed possible ways of solving the problem of the use of administrative responsibility for offenses related to raiding, raidership and understanding as a factor threatening the national security of Ukraine.
Head of Zaporizhzhya branch of the League of APU students, 3rd year student Ivan Shumeyko expressed concerns about lack of normative regulation of this issue.
Following the discussion, it was decided to propose to amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences, the Law of Ukraine "On Joint Stock Companies", "On Enforcement Proceedings", "On State Property Fund of Ukraine" Regulations on the National Commission for the Protection of investors counteraction to the illegal acquisitions and takeovers and the Law of Ukraine "On the Antimonopoly Committee".
Participants used the presentation material available empirical evidence of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, State Property Fund of Ukraine, etc..
