9 February at the College of Economics and Law of ZNU was held Open Door Day for high school students and their parents. The administration and teachers of the college prepared for the participants of this year's holiday a pleasant surprise: all interested persons had an opportunity to attend workshops on a variety of specialties and evidently acquainted with the peculiarities of their future profession.
Open Door Day began with a hospitable reception of visitors: festively dressed girls and boys - students of Economics and Law College - greeted guests at the door and carried to audiences. On the 2nd floor guests were treated to cakes and hot drinks. 
This time the Entrant's Day was held under the slogan "My professional skills". Therefore, prior to the traditional general assembly in the hall of 2nd academic building, a series of activities for parents and high school students so that they can feel the atmosphere of the college. High school students had the opportunity to attend four workshops during which learned about the features of learning in the chosen specialization. Those who have their future profession relates to mathematics and computer science, made their way to a master class on "Software Development". Entrants who prefer specialty "Physical Education", "Travel Service" and "Production Organization" participated in a master class of foreign language. Separately, there have been studies in specialties "Accounting" and "Finance and Credit". Perhaps the most interesting and most welcoming visitors appeared to meet with teachers of humanitarian specialties – 
"Social Pedagogics", "Social Work", "Law" and "Publishing and Editing", which was held in the upper room of the Philological Faculty of ZNU. The event was held under the auspices of 2014 - the year of Taras Shevchenko, because there were able to see a small documentary about the life of famous artist of the series "Great Ukrainian". Without knowledge of the native language and literature can not imagine any specialist, so participants in this master class offered to answer the question of language quiz. Active participants for the best answers received small prizes, and all the guests at the end of the event were treated to delicious dumplings.
In addition, all interested persons have passed professional computer diagnostics to ensure their professional abilities. Those who have not yet decided on the future 
specialty, college specialists provide a number of tips on how to take into account their temperament and ability to choose a future profession that would fit them the most. While high school students participated in master classes and testing, Director of College Olena Grybanova held a meeting with parents.
During the general meeting in the hall of 2nd academic building of ZNU attendees had the opportunity to view a video presentation about teaching and life of students of ELC.
Director of College Olena Gribanova welcomed the participants and explained the specifics of education in Economics and Law College, the logistics of the learning process and so on. She stressed that the ELC - a young subdivision of ZNU, which began its history in 2008. During this time it has developed rapidly and today prepares young professionals for 9 specialties, and this year will begin training in the new specialty - "Social Pedagogigcs". Almost 95% of college graduates continue their training at the Faculties of ZNU. 
Also talked about other issues of interest to both prospective students and their parents: a study on the benefits of training courses, provided the entrance campaign of the year and the entrance test, the possibility of internships and employment opportunities for graduates of ELC and ZNU. Olena Yevgeniyivna suggested to visit the site of ZNU and ELC to get more useful information. She also responded to questions of those present.
On the diversity of students' life and participation in exciting youth activities, as well as the entrance campaign features described Head of Student Council of ELC Sofiya Marchenko and a 1st year student of a specialty "Physical Education" Andriy Vakula.
