February 19 on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University held a regular practice-oriented workshop for teachers of Economics on "Methods of introducing innovative technologies in teaching economic subjects". The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya City Council and analytical methodological center of Zaporizhzhya.
The workshop attended First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU Alla Cherep, Head of the Preparatory Department of ZNU Iryna Bakalenko, teachers of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU and Zaporizhzhya schools teachers.
The event opened methodologist of Information and Analytical Methodological Center of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya City Council Larysa Hun'ko.
First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar welcomed the participants and rebuked thee hope that through the cooperation of representatives of secondary and higher education will achieve good results in preparing Zaporizhzhya youth for the future professional growth.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics Alla Vasylivna told the event participants about the activities of Faculty of Economics, as well as the possible forms of cooperation between teachers and secondary school students from the Faculty of Economics of ZNU and the university as a whole.
With welcoming speech to those present at the workshop addressed the Head of Preparatory Department Iryna Bakalenko. She described the work of training courses of ZNU free training of EIT and consulting work, the registration point on EIT, which operates on the basis of our university.
The theme of the workshop were modern innovative technology used by scientists at the Faculty of Economics economic disciplines, as well as methods of their implementation.
Within the event for school teachers were held two lectures. In particular, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor of the Department of International Economics and Economic Theory Ivan Koloberdyanko described the modern innovative technology and experience of their use by teachers of Faculty of Economics of ZNU. He noted that modern teaching methods increase the efficiency of employment, stimulate the learning activities of students increase their interest in the sciences and, as a result, a factor of professional competence of economists. Thus, at the Faculty of Economics of ZNU are often used such methods of teaching as a "case-method", conducted business games, TV-bridges, debates, roundtables discussions, etc..
In turn, the lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory and Entrepreneurship Alina Osaul gave examples of teaching and learning technologies that she uses personally during lectures. Alina Oleksandrivna said that today one of the most important tasks of the teacher is to increase student interest and discipline to activate their account. This can be achieved thanks to the use of new teaching methods.
At the end of the event Zaporizhzhya school teachers thanked the organizers and speakers for useful lectures which they listened with interest and expressed a wish to become a tradition similar workshop in Zaporizhzhya National University.
So, teacher of Zaporizhzhya education center №67 Dmytro Olifirenko emphasized that such workshops increase qualification level of teachers who are overburdened by their work and have no time for self-improvement. Through practice-oriented workshops teachers in secondary schools have the opportunity to learn about new methods of teaching, which then can be used in their practice.
According to teacher of secondary school №78 Viktoriya Shul'pekova, this workshop was not only a good opportunity to exchange experiences and improve their qualification level, but also to learn about the possible forms of cooperation between schools and Zaporizhzhya National University, namely, conducting tours for students of the University, participated in various conferences and roundtable discussions.
We remind that today, February 20, at 14:00 in ZNU held next practice-oriented workshop for teachers of biology and chemistry on "Analysis of the EIT in Chemistry and Biology, 2013". Also at the event will be an excursion by the zoological museum and presentation of material and technical resources of the Biological Faculty's Departments" (room 307, 3rd academic building of ZNU).
