Students of Economics and Law College of ZNU acquainted with publishing activity of Taras Shevchenko
On March 4, in Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a roundtable on "Publishing activity of Taras Shevchenko", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the poet.
3rd year students of the specialty "Publishing and Editing" acquainted with the exhibition "Unique editions of Taras Shevchenko", which is currently represented in the Scientific Library of ZNU. The jewel of this exhibition were facsimile edition: beyond censorship 
publication of the book "Kobzar" 1840 of edition, "Every day book" of Taras Shevchenko, "Kobzar" 1860 of edition, etc., about the uniqueness of which to students were told in details library specialists Tetyana Ryepka and Olena Mazurovska. In addition, students learned a lot of interesting information about publications of our university teachers, who studied creativity and life path of the outstanding Ukrainian writer.
Director of Scientific Library of ZNU Valentyna Herasymova acquainted students on the part of the exhibition, where the foreign publications devoted to the works of Taras Hryhorovych. For example, the 4-volume "Concordance of Shevchenko's poetry"
– guide to poetic heritage of Ukraine's national poet Taras Shevchenko for scholars and students, which was issued by the Scientific Society named after Taras Shevchenko in America in cooperation with the publishing house of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies.
At the end of the event, ELC students performed with their reports that have examined the publishing activity of Ukrainian poet, and importance of his work in contemporary society.
Teacher of discipline "Literary style" of ELC Olena Artemenko thanked the event participants for their active work and said that the works of the great poet and today is surprisingly relevant, because all of his great heritage permeated with love for Ukraine and aimed at the formation of the national idea and consciousness of every Ukrainian.
