Zaporizhzhya National University continued international cooperation with the Canadian College of English Language
Zaporizhzhya National University continues to work closely with Canadian College of English Language (Vancouver, Canada). Already 11 members of our university completed the Distance Learning Course on English at the Canadian College and received certificates of graduates. From 1 April, all willing students and teachers will have the opportunity to start ZNU program of distance learning English «Social Media Related Training» (SMRT).
Taking into account the pace of development electronic technology in our society and their direct impact on the lives of students in the program from the Canadian College of SMRT introduced innovative and creative approaches to the process of learning a foreign language.
During the training program SMRT, students go deep into the process of learning English through an interesting educational material using the Internet and other electronic resources (Google docs, Google sites, YouTube, TED Talks, MSN News, Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com, Wikipedia, Facebook , Twitter).
In addition, representatives of the Foreign Languages Intensive Study Center of ZNU coordinate students follow the learning process and are always ready to answer all their questions. This year, our university will be further formed conversational clubs where students can in the distance education at Canadian colleges to improve their level of colloquial English.
According to Director of Agency of International Cultural Exchange and Training ICEA Iryna Kobets, thanks to SMRT program each student has the opportunity to not only increase his proficiency level in a foreign language, but also realize his identity in the professional field and increase their chances for career advancement. Indeed, in our time, a high level of proficiency in English - is not only an advantage, but also the need during the work search.
