March 25 at Zaporizhzhya National University was conducted students' report-election conference. During the event, the participants - delegates from all Faculties and colleges of our university - listened to the report of the Head of the Students' Council of ZNU Anton Osadchuk and participated in the first round of the elections of the Students' Council Head. Their candidatures for the post applied 3rd year student of the Faculty of Physical Education Vladyslav Vorotkov, 3rd year student of the Law Faculty Oleksii Krasov and 4th year student of the Faculty of Journalism Olha Lebedeva. In addition, during an event was held voting amendments to the Regulations of student government in our university.
At the beginning of the meeting, addressing the participants First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar congratulated them on an important event in the life of the university, and also noted the presence of a high percentage of the delegates at the event from students (over 200): «I would urge all responsible to the choice that they make, guided speaking candidates because of those holding senior positions in student government, much depends in the lives of students. Working as a head of Students' Council involves great responsibility and I am sure that all the candidates is well understood, because each of them already has experience of the student self-government. So in case of victory, will head the Students' Council of ZNU adequately. Separately, on behalf of the university administration, I want to thank Anton Osadchuk for fruitful and prudent work at a time when he held the position. I think that all this time continued productive dialogue between students and university leadership», - noted Oleksandr Hryhorovych.
Before turning to the issues submitted for discussion, delegates elected the Presidium, composed of: Head of temporary Electoral Commission Ivan Shumeiko, Chairman of the SCSP of ZNU Valentyna Kucheruk, Deputy Head the student trade union Yuliia Dudnyk and Students' Council Head Anton Osadchuk. Were also elected members of the counting commission, headed by Anatolii Shashkov.
After participants of report-election conference almost unanimously voted for amendments to the Regulations on Student Government of ZNU, word gave to current Head of Students' Council Anton Osadchuk. He reported on 
the main results of his team, which he led. Especially Anton emphasized that main task of the Students' Council considered an asset of all Faculties of Zaporizhzhya National University for the successful implementation of joint projects. He said that in this he was fortunate to achieve success. He also reported on the main achievements in all areas of the Students' Council.
Delegates approved the report and acknowledged Anton Osadchuk's work satisfactory.
All candidates for the the post of Students' Council Head - 3rd year student of the Faculty of Physical Education Vladyslav Vorotkov, 3rd year student of the Faculty of 
Law Oleksii Krasov and 4th year student of the Faculty of Journalism Olha Lebedieva – briefed the delegates on the main theses of their programs and gave answers to questions.
So, Oleksii Krasov said that the main idea of his implementation of the concept of student self-government in our university is the thesis: "Student Council Labour - for students". Olha Lebedieva said that she has an ambitious goal: to build a true civil society student at our university, and Vladyslav Vorotkov emphasized that loves his university and admires his development in many areas, but sees some shortcomings in some important areas, so make every effort to overcome them.
As a result of the secret ballot, which was attended by 202 delegates, the voices of participants was as follows: Olha Lebedieva has 119 
votes for candidacy of Vladyslav Vorotkov 63 people have voted, and for Oleksii Krasov - 18. In addition, two members of the counting commission ballots invalidated.
Since the Regulation on Student Government of ZNU is an item that candidate to the Students' Council Head must score at least 126 votes (50% of the total number of deputies and one vote), the April 1 in our university will be held a second round. By the time the acting Head of the Students' Council will perform Anton Osadchuk, however, the decision of participants report-election conference, the next time during the meeting, he can not report to the team on his activity.
