On March 26 within a framework of VI Scientific Conference "Young Science 2014" held a meeting of the section of information technology and programming. The event was attended by the College Director Olena Hrybanova, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Maksym Nosyk, Head of the Economic Department Ruslana Zhelezniak, Deputy Director on educational work Inna Kyrylova and participants - students of 1st-4th years of specialty "Software Development" and 2nd year student of specialty "Finance and Credit".
The section's work headed teacher of computer science Olena Tsymmerman. The jury consisted of: teacher of mathematics Nataliya Kalashnikova, teachers of profile subjects of Software Development specialty Oleksii Kudin and Volodymyr Arutiunian.
Moderator Olena Tsymmerman in the early scientific meetings noted that very nice to see the Conference students' of specialty "Software Development" and other specialties.
During the meeting, their reports presented 11 students of ELC. Themes of works had four thematic direction - data protection, support for the educational process, computer graphics and animation, specialized disciplines.
Students whose work is related to the topic of information security, focused attention on the fact that today's society is an information and product manufacturing is not a thing or energy, such as information and knowledge.
Several students in their research examined the problems of the educational process. It should be noted that their work has focused on the use of ICT in the educational process.
The topic of computer graphics and animations revealed Mariia Filina, who described the geometrical fractals and especially their construction. And scientific developments of profile disciplines provided students of specialty "Software Development", which described the mathematical basis of the algorithm RSA, application development tools for mobile platforms and techniques to design the file system as an example Minix OS.
By results of the jury's work for publishing collections of works of students and young scientists of ZNU will be recommended work of the following students: Maksym Lebid ("Development of the algorithm and software of block encryption", supervisor – Oleksii Kudin); Maksym Piven ("Data protection during voice messaging transmission", supervisor – Viktoriia Shevchenko).
Among the best-prepared student presentations have been selected works of Mariya Filina ("Geometric fractals and features of their construction", supervisor – Olena Tsymmerman) and Oleksandr Zhylenko ("Instrumental means of application development for mobile platforms", supervisor – Viktoriia Shevchenko).
It was also selected the best scientific development that has taken practical application - web portal "Informatics and Computer Technology" of Anton Yelozin (supervisor – Olha Spelchuk).
Results of the meeting summed up College Director Olena Hrybanova. She welcomed the participants of the conference and said that every year the work of becomes more detailed and interesting. Senior students of the specialty "Software Development" prepared research on topics of their graduation projects. They also participate in various regional competitions and contests where occupy the prize places. This year, 3rd year student of this specialty Oleksii Soloviov took 3rd place in the Olympiad in informatics and computer technology, and 1st year student Vladyslav Svistielnik – 1st place in regional competitions in mathematics. Olena Yevheniivna congratulated the winners and awarded a diploma Oleksii Soloviov.
