At the Philological Faculty was held a meeting of scientific sections within the conference "Young Science"
On the basis of the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University within a scientific-practical conference "Young Science 2014" was held a scientific meeting of three sections: "Actual problems of Ukrainian and Russian literary", "Actual problems of Ukrainian and Russian linguistics" and "Actual problems of teaching methods of philological disciplines".
Total Philological Faculty students prepared 94 reports, of which 35 - in literature, 41 - in linguistics and 18 - in teaching methods. It's almost twice more than last year.
Deputy Dean for Research of the Faculty of Philology of ZNU Ivan Matsehora welcomed all the conference participants and wished them fruitful work and high scientific achievement. Ivan Matsehora also noted the high level, the relevance and validity of scientific research, increasing the number of articles on methods of teaching. So, to chose the best work was difficult.
Meeting of sections attended not only by students of junior and senior courses, graduate students, alumni of the Faculty of Philology, but also students of the College of Economics and Law of ZNU, the representatives of Kryvyi Rih National University and Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, young teachers of Zaporizhzhya State Medical University.
The linguistics section's activities was divided into two subsections based on themes reports. Heads of section were Head of Ukrainian Language Department, Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Liubov Stovbur and Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Iryna Ilchenko. Especially guidance section noted scientific researches of students Iryna Nadzelska, Kateryna Osepian and Yulia Pysmenna.
The section "Current problems of teaching methods of philological sciences" was led by Ph,D, in Pedagogics, associate professor Olesya Slyzhuk. In this section, the best works were recognized reports of Maryna Hrebeniuk, Yulia Pfaifer and Victoria Teodorova.
Work of literature section also held in two subsections. It led vy Ph.D. in Philology, associates professors Oksana Sichkar and Oksana Temna. Among the best student works were selected articles of Kateryna Pototska, Inna Honcharenko.
During the discussion of the participants considered the current problems of teaching methods of philological sciences, the use of video game and interactive technology on the lessons of Ukrainian language and literature, especially the training of students perceived the works of Ukrainian literature. They also explored innovative vocabulary of Ukrainian Internet space subnormal vocabulary in Ukraine-language blogosphere, the concept of freedom in prose of Irene Karpa and Larysa Denisenko, specifics of Ukrainian Baroque period poetry, folk tales basis of Leonid Glebov, communicative activity approach to the study of the syntax of the students in the school, especially the functioning of languages among students and other important topics.
Not omitted in their reports, students and creativity of Oles Honchar, Volodymyr Vynnychenko, Yevhen Malaniuk, Vasyl Stus, Panteleimon Kulish, Mykola Khvyliovyi, Lesya Ukrainka, Lina Kostenko, Maria Matios and other.
All scientific work of the students will be recommended for publication in the Proceedings of students and teachers of the university and the best will be awarded diplomas during a meeting of the Council of the Faculty of Philology.
