April 14, in Zaporizhzhya National University was held opening ceremony of the Rector's Cup Futsal Championship. Organized by the Students' Council with the support of the Center for Culture and Health club of ZNU.
At the beginning of solemn event with greetings to the audience turned First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar. On behalf of the Rector of our university Mykola Frolov and of all administration he wished him success and victories competitors and positive emotions – 
to fans. «- Football is a sport of millions. - Football is everything. May the best win!» - completed greeting Oleksandr Bondar.
On the first day of participation in the competition took part 10 football teams - Biological Faculty, Economics, Law, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences and Administration, Faculty of Management, Journalism, Physical Education, Economics and Law College of ZNU and team of Mathematical and Physical Faculties.
After a long struggle tournament table on the first day of the competition is as follows:
FSSA – team of Mathematical and Physical Faculties – 4:0;
ELC – Faculty of Biology – 13:6;
Faculty of Economics – Faculty of Management – 5:3;
Faculty of Journalism – Faculty of Foreign Languages – 7:5;
Faculty of Physical Education – Faculty of Law – 9:1.
