For ZNU students was held an open lecture to the World Day for Safety and Health

April 28 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a public lecture on "Emergencies related to the release of highly toxic substances" for students of all Faculties and Economics and Law College of our university. The event was organized by representatives of the Department of Educational Work of ZNU.

At the beginning of the event to those present addressed specialist for Fire Safety of ZNU Volodymyr Budko. He noted that this year's World Day for Safety and Health on the recommendation of the International Labour Organisation celebrated under the theme "Safety and health at work in use of chemicals". Given that some Faculties of the University during the laboratory work using harmful substances, the theme of the lecture is very relevant.
Invited guest speaker - teacher of Zaporizhzhya City courses Training and Methodological Centre for Civil Protection and Life Safety of Zaporizhzhya region Kamila Shpak - during the lecture told the audience at the event of radiation-and chemically hazardous objects of Zaporizhzhya region, and called highly toxic substances therein. Particular attention is focused on students speaker characteristics, signs of poisoning with ammonia and chlorine, and demonstrated personal protective equipment from damage by these substances.
At the end of the meeting to those present Kamila Shpak presented a video tutorial on the algorithm of human action during emergencies, wished the students success and good health.
