Conscious choice of future profession affects later life, determines the success of self organization, socialization, career and professional growth. The need for an efficient professional consultancy aimed to help teenagers in this, consistent with the public and personal requirements, makes this issue extremely important.
In order to properly orient when choosing a profession, we should seek the assistance of professionals who can provide objective and timely information about the labor market, its changes and needs. That is why our University, including the Head of the Preparatory Department Iryna Bakalenko continue meeting with senior pupils of Zaporizhzhya region.
In April 2014, as a part of career guidance, Iryna Bakalenko visited Guliaypole and Orikhiv districts and spoke to high school students. These meetings took place at the invitation of experts of regional employment centers, which offered members of ZNU to participate in vocational guidance action "Graduate 2014".
Prospective entrants were able to get information about Zaporizhzhya National University, its history and present physical infrastructure, academic potential, Faculties, specialties and specializations.
Also pupils learned about the perspectives that are open to students of ZNU: 
first of all, getting a modern European level of quality education that will enable them to develop their talents and realize their full potential; opportunity to work abroad; getting a second education; guaranteed employment.
However, Iryna Bakalenko said that in order to become a student of dreamed University, high school students today need to work efficiently and be very careful. First, they should decide on the choice of future profession, because it depends on what subjects, they will pass on EIT. Second, continue preparation for the test. It was offered help of specialists of ZNU to prospective entrants, as many years on the basis of our University incorporates courses that promote quality preparation for entrance. Third, pass the test. Finally, in the Ministry of Education and Science Ukraine terms apply to the long-awaited higher educational institution.
All participants received additional information and advertising materials of Zaporizhzhya National University. Of particular interest for students raised the possibility of obtaining information about the ientrance campaign in 2014 and EIT in a social network Vkontakte group "Entrant of ZNU".
