On the eve of May holidays, April 29, at the Faculty of Economics met with graduates of Zaporizhzhya National University - students from European universities.
At the beginning of the event D.Sc. in Economics, professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Alla Cherep welcomed all the participants and noted: «Our faculty is an active member of the international programs of education Ukrainian students abroad. In particular, it should be noted program ELEKTRA, through which students are able to study at prestigious universities in Europe free of charge».
Alla Cherep informed those present that the chosen direction of cooperation with the Polish side was scheduled this year during the Congress of the University of Economics (Katowice), which is traditionally held in Bulgaria.
After the introduction Alla Cherep introduced the guests of the event - graduates of the Faculty - Oleksii Miniailo, Master of Economic University (Katowice), who trained under the program "Development of energy systems of the country", and Damir Kulish, postgraduate student of the Carl von Ossietzky University, who trained under the program ELEKTRA in Germany.
Discussion started Oleksii Miniailo, who noted that the study in the University of Economics is fairly easy, as the knowledge gained in Zaporizhzhya National University, is the key to successful learning in Europe. Separately, Oleksii Miniailo said, that he received the highest score among Polish students of accounting. These facts indicate a high level of professionalism of teachers of the Faculty of Economics.
Alla Cherep drew attention to the fact that knowledge of foreign languages is an important factor for success in today's world. Also, Dean of the Faculty of Economics said: «Foreign languages is one of the basic conditions of training in Europe in programs such as ELEKTRA, so is the need for learning foreign languages».
It should be noted that Faculty of Economics implemented teaching major subjects in English. The teachers were unanimously approved the proposal of the Faculty Dean Alla Cherep to implement new teaching subjects in English.
Damir Kulish drew attention to the high level of knowledge acquired on the Faculty who help him in teaching at graduate level in Germany, older than him a minimum of 10 years.
The feature of postgraduate studies in Carl von Ossietzky University is its duration - 3 to 6 years. Late for training is strictly regulated and punished by fines.
Alla Cherep noted that in Ukraine during the implementation of any innovation, special attention should be paid to corporate social responsibility.
At the end of the meeting Dean of the Faculty of Economics thanked the students and invited experts and noted: «In the nearest future not only our students will study at universities of Europe, as well as overseas students study in our university, but Oleksii and Damir return home and will apply their expertise to the development of economics of Ukraine».
