In Scientific Library of ZNU started the book exhibition dedicated to 69th anniversary of victory in World War II
7 May in the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University discovered book exhibition dedicated to 69th anniversary of victory in World War II.
The exhibition includes a large amount of literature about the tragic events of the times that will forever remain in the memory of the Ukrainian people. Furthermore, gathered much of modern literature that includes new study of Ukrainian scientists, including professors of our university publications.
Special exhibition consists of materials that highlight memories and testimonies of those who survived that terrible war. Also, there are front-line photos, letters and diaries of soldiers.
Quite interesting is the collection of 17 volumes of historical and memorial series "Memory Book of Ukraine" in Zaporizhzhya region, which is dedicated to perpetuating the memory of our fellow-Zaporizhzhya, Zaporizhzhya defenders and liberators who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Each of these publications is a kind of memorial to the soldiers' glory on the pages where minted endless series of names, who died.
