In Economics and Law College of ZNU was held a series of activities to mark the Victory Day. Students and teachers of the college congratulated Great Patriotic War veterans who worked at our university, had literary and artistic evening "In memory of the fallen, deserve to be!", opened event "Those days no cease the glory!", took part in the solemn meeting devoted to the 69th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War near the monument to Tank crew of the Hero of the Soviet Union Mykola Yatsenko.
May 7 along with the staff of the Department of Educational Work of students' asset of ELC - Head of the Students' Council Vlad Kondratenko, his Deputy Alina Kuprina and Head of Cultural and Mass Sector Illia Maksymov – welcomed the veterans who were invited to ZNU on the holiday's eve. Students have a unique opportunity to meet with members of war – Volodymyr Yumatov, Zoia Holieva, Halyna Ivasyshyna and Oleksandra Shapkina. They are all after the war worked as teachers in our universities. Students also attended and welcomed another veteran - Liubov Tyrina, who was unable to come in person to the meeting.
May 8 in the hall of 2nd academic building of ZNU was held artistic and literary evening "In memory of the fallen, deserve to be!". The event was organized by representatives of Cultural and Mass sector and Students' Council of ELC. The viewers - mostly students of different groups of ELC - the day were able to search a historical video footage devoted to the fight of our people and their victory in the Great Patriotic War, see the documentary chronicles, photos and more. Participants talked about their grandparents, who took part in the Great Patriotic War and of their memories, and watched videos related to these heroic events, and shared their experiences with each other. In memory of the Victory Day present hitched up his clothes red poppies - a symbol of memory of those killed in the war. The event ended with a joint performance of all the famous song "Katyusha" with a guitar and laid flowers at the eternal flame at the park in the area of Freedom.
To Victory Day, students of different groups of ELC also set up their own wall newspapers-greetings.
