May 7 in the premises of Zaporizhzhya Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater Magara on the initiative of the Regional Veterans and the support of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration held the fifteenth annual telethon "Memory" dedicated to 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The purpose of telethon is honoring the heroism of the veterans at the front and rear of the workers ', soldiers' widows and children of war who are selfless work approached Victory Day, rebuilt from the ruins of their homeland, deserve profound respect and gratitude to their descendants and all mankind. The main purpose of the event - to provide material and financial assistance to veterans to address social and everyday problems.
Collected during the telethon funds will be used to target the most needy targeted payments support veterans and children of war in the form of assistance through regional, city and district of veterans. To date, the project has collected more than 740 thousand UAH.
Representatives of the University took an active part in the action. Total ZNU collected from about 18 thousand UAH.
Although the ceremony holding telethon "Memory" is over, this charity event will last until the end of May.
