May 14 in Zaporizhzhya National University were awarded with certificates 54 teachers, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates who have been trained at Foreign Languages Study Center under the program "Language training of teachers (English)".
The course "Language training of teachers (English)" was introduced at Foreign Languages Study Center of ZNU for scientific and pedagogical staff of non-linguistic faculties. Its purpose - prepare teachers to participate in international conferences, exchange programs and internships, developing communication skills in English for international communication in the educational sphere.
At the end of the course teachers passed qualifying exams for standardized tests and levels of English proficiency in accordance with the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Languages. So, 9 listeners received certificates of course "A1" (Starter), 27 - level "A2" (Elementary), 14 - level "B1" (Pre-Intermediate), 4 - level "B2" (Intermediate).
Notably, more than 40 teachers of our university plans to continue to improve their level of English in the next academic year.
