At the Faculty of Foreign Languages discussed the development of Zaporizhzhya modern literature in the context of world culture
At the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University was held open sessions on the role of contemporary Zaporizhzhya modern literature in the context of world culture. 4th year student of specialties "English Language and Literature" , "German Language and Literature" and "French Language and Literature" under the direction of associate professor of German Philology and Translation Valentyna Botner reviewed novel "Winter cuckoo" of Dara Kornii and Tala Vladmyrova and mentioned Zaporizhzhya poetry writers Oles Barlih and Anna Lupynos.
At the beginning of studies associate professor of German Philology and Translation Valentyna Botner reminded the audience about the main trends of contemporary world literature and key features of postmodern literature of XXI century, and invited them to consider work "Winter cuckoo" from literary point of view. In their reports, the students discussed the structure and language of the novel, its intertextuality and poetics.
At the end of the event all guests could ask questions to the author. In particular, students interested in whether Tala Vladmyrova difficult to write in collaboration with Lviv writer Dara Kornii, about future creative plans of authors of the novel and the fate of certain characters of "Winter cuckoo".
