In ZNU was discussed draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on the decentralization of power prepared by university scientists
Representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University has never stayed away from important social and political processes taking place in our country. So now, when Ukraine in an ongoing public debate on constitutional reform our university scientists are actively involved in it. Scientists of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of ZNU along with his colleagues have developed by Kyiv document "The concept of local government reform and draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on decentralization of power", to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The discussion of individual points of the proposed concept note present actively participated Deputy of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council Oles Zaporozhets, Head of Political Science Department of ZNU Tetiana Nikolaieva, CEO of Zaporizhzhya Regional public organization "National defense" Nataliia Zabolotna, postgraduate student of the Department of Social Sciences and Administration Veronika Lavrik and other participants.
They drew attention to some important points of the reforms required in our country today for further normal functioning, in particular the reform of housing and communal services and manufacturing industry shared their vision problems that may occur during the creation of local communities and the process of decentralization of power and outlined the actions of the government and society that, in their opinion, will help to reform the legislation of our country effectively. Some of these issues have caused a lively discussion all those present.
At the end of the event Mykola Frolov thanked all present for their fruitful work and expressed confidence that they will continue no less actively involved in state building process.
