ZNU representatives participated in setting of opera "Cossack beyond the Danube"

In Zaporizhzhya on the Khortytsya island was screened opera "Cossack beyond the Danube". The project, organized by Zaporizhzhya Regional Philharmony and the national nature reserve "Khortytsya", was attended by representatives of ZNU - students and teachers of the Acting Department of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology.

For the creation of the play involved groups and soloists of Zaporizhzhya Regional Philharmony and invited leading opera singers from Dnipropetrovsk. In addition, in the performance took part the following creative teams as ethno-folk duo "Larks", equestrian theater "Zaporizhzhya Cossacks" alumni of youth sports school "Saviour", members of the municipal theater dance, volunteer group Angels.
Is worth noting that Zaporizhzhya National University for 5 years collaborating with Zaporizhzhya regional philharmonic society in the organization and conduct of various creative projects and concerts. So this time representatives of our university took direct part in the play, writer and director of which was Honored Artist of Ukraine Anatolii Halymon , and art director – заслужений діяч мистецтв України Valentyn Slonov.
Total on stage at the same time were about 150 participants, including musical visiting card of Zaporizhzhya - Academic Symphony Orchestra led by national artist of Ukraine Viacheslav Redia, only in the region professional Cossacks Music and Dance Ensemble "The Cossacks" (Head – Honored Artist of Ukraine Liliia Gryn).
As noted Ph.D. in Pedagogics, associate of Acting Department of ZNU Liliia Gryn, despite the fact that the show was staged for the first time, it looked almost 750 Zaporizhzhya citizens. She has managed to cause great resonance among theater-goers and visitors, as is now very urgent and united Ukrainian nation. Similar performances contribute to the education of patriotism, spirituality and national identity of the young generation. Also Liliia Gryn shared plans to re-run performance on August 24.
