26.09.2014 09:55 Центр вивчення іноземних мов ЗНУ Школа педагогічної майстерності

On the basis of ZNU Foreign Languages Study Center will start annual language courses for teachers. As in the previous year, the language groups will operate as a fee and for free - as part of the Pedagogic Mastery School. More than 100 teachers of our university have expressed a desire to learn (or improve) a foreign language, more than 70 of them will be able to study for free.

One of the main criteria for forming study groups of the School of educational excellence this year are indicators of success, which showed participants of paid groups last year. Last year, the Center trained 56 teachers for a fee, and those who have expressed a desire to continue learning a foreign language is entered to free courses.
This year's courses will run with three groups of learning English (level A2, B1, B2, C1), one group of the German Language (level A2) and one group of learning French (level A2). Program of ZNU Foreign Languages Study Center is aimed at acquisition of skills level Academic English (English for academic purposes) to facilitate the teachers' mobility of ZNU.
It is worth noting that among the teachers of ZNU, language courses is very popular. Groups which formed this year for a fee, will have their benefits: tuition in the Foreign Languages Study Center, under the program "Language training of teachers" is minimal and remains unchanged from last year, and the number of academic hours in the same time increase. In addition, all participants of groups that will study for a fee, next year will be able to continue training courses for free.
His opinion on the relevance of learning foreign languages by teachers expressed Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Justice Віктор Сабадаш: "Last year I attended English language courses, plan to continue training. I believe, that knowledge of English to me personally, helps improve as a lawyer, as a teacher and as a scholar. We have to communicate with foreign colleagues at conferences and workshops, writing articles in foreign language and so on. By the way, soon at the invitation of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, our university visited the representative of the Faculty of Law of the University of Liverpool Kayron Reid. I'm preparing in advance for this meeting: I would like to chat with a colleague without mediators».
