At the Faculty of History was held events to the 70th anniversary of Ukraine's liberation from German occupation

Last week at the Faculty of History was held a students' scientific conference and the first meeting of the film club. Events were devoted to landmark date - Ukraine's liberation from the Nazi occupation (October 28, 1944, in the course of the Carpathian-Uzhgorod offensive was finally liberated in the current borders of Ukraine). The event initiated by the Department of Modern History of Ukraine and the Scientific Community of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Young Scientists of the Faculty of History of ZNU.

October 27 at the Faculty of History was held students' scientific and practical conference dedicated to Ukraine's contribution to the victory in World War II. Active participation in this scientific event 4th year student of the Faculty of History. The conference took place in four sections: "Military History", "Political History", "Cultural History", "History of everyday life". At the beginning of the conference addressed the audience Ph.D., associate professor of Modern History of Ukraine Department Vasyl Hvozdyk, who emphasized the relevance of the theme of liberation of Ukraine in view of the complex military and political environment in which our country is today.
