Representatives of ZNU took an active part in VIII International Scientific Conference on patriotic education of youth

November 28 was held VIII International Scientific Conference on patriotic education of youth "Formation of patriotism in terms of cooperation and confrontation in cross-border relations countries". Its work is traditionally attended by representatives of the local authorities, public institutions and organizations as well as teachers and students of Zaporizhzhya National University.

The main tasks that have set themselves the participants were: analysis of the impact of trends in cross-border relations of the content and nature of patriotic education; determine the realities and challenges of the modern system of patriotic education in Ukraine and other countries around the world, highlighting the strategic directions in this area, etc.
This time for a scientific gathering its proponents chose part-time format, so many reports of speakers from other regions of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, USA, Hungary were presented in the form of video recordings.
Also, teachers and students of ZNU took part in such sections as "Military-patriotic education as a prerequisite for national security. Traditions of the Cossack pedagogics", "Educational potential of modern education as a condition of formation of patriotism of the individual citizen", "Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the strategy of cross-border relations of security", "Social mobilization of youth in sustainable development of society", "Patriotism as a problem of society in terms of cross-border relations".
As a result of the conference, the participants adopted a resolution which, in particular, spoke of the need to address the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with proposals to overcome the systemic crisis that now is in our society. Thus, the organizers offered the government of our country to create and implement training programs for Defenders, support consolidation of civil society, the manifestations of public diplomacy, volunteering etc.
