Teachers of ZNU participated in the International Conference "German National-Cultural Movement of Bessarabia: History and Prospects"
On October 17-18, Faculty of History teachers took part in the International Scientific Conference "German National-Cultural Movement of Bessarabia: History and Prospects", held as the part of the First International Forum "Tarutinskij Dialogue - 2015" in the village of Tarutino, Odessa region. The conference was organized and conducted with the support of the "Union of Germans of Ukraine", chairman of the NGO "Bessarabian House" Svitlana Kruk, Associate Professor of Archeology and Ethnology of Ukraine Odessa National University Pryharin Oleksandr, Head of "Guards of the German Cultural Centre "Pearl" Valentyna Vaysbek.
Despite the fact that this conference was the first time, it was attended by scientists from Odessa, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhya, Chernigov. In addition, in the conference took part students of the Faculty of History of ONU. Also at the conference was a presentation of the book of German writer Pottez Lizoletty "Which motherland belongs to our heart?" in which the author, who himself comes from family of Bessarabian Germans tried to collect photos and memories of the former residents of the village Tarutine.
During the two days of the conference were presented over twenty papers discussed many issues identified future directions of future conferences on the hospitable land of Bessarabia. Overall, the conference was held in a positive, scientific atmosphere, allowing to exchange experience, establish professional relationships and to plan further joint projects.
