Scientists of ZNU Scientists have transferred a selection of professional literature to Zaporizhzhya Regional and Universal Science Library
January, 21 in Zaporizhzhya Regional and Universal Science Library by Horkyi held celebrations devoted to anniversary of its founding. Traditionally in the exhibition hall of the employees of that institution organized a demonstration of literature, which transferred in funds to indifferent readers, publishers and educational institutions of the region. Prominent place in the exhibition occupied a selection of books, transferred by scientists of the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University.
More than fifty kinds of publications extending shelves of the Local History Department of the Zaporizhzhya Regional and Universal Science Library. For the most part they were ordinary editions of such serial publications as «Zaporozka spadshchyna», «Usna istoriia Stepovoi Ukrainy», «Starozhytnosti Pivdennoi Ukrainy», «Zabuti shchodennyky» and others.
At the ceremony there is Dean of the Faculty of History Doctor of Historical sciences, professor Volodymyr Milchev said that the emergence of such a large number of publications was made possible through the support of both management of ZNU and the close cooperation of scientists of the Faculty of History with such well-known in Ukraine and in the world institutions as the Ukrainian Institute of Archeology and Source Studies by Hrushevskyi of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (the department for many years operating under ZNU), Eastern Institute of Ukrainian Studies by Kovalskykh, Zaporizhzhya Scientific Society by Novytskyi and others.
In recognition of the achievements of Zaporizhzhya historians of the team of ZOUNB (Zaporizhzhya Regional and Universal Science Library by Horkyi) became an honorary diploma awarded by the Directorate to professor Volodymyr Milchev.
