January 22nd, in the hall of Zaporizhzhya Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre. V. Magara held awarding candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of Source Studies Department, Historiography and Special Historical Disciplines Kniazkov Yurii Petrovych. The city mayor Volodymyr Buriak handed to the researcher medal by Zaporizhzhya City Council "For personal contribution to the development of Zaporizhzhya" for many research activities, promotion of local history and publishing fundamental scientific work "Streets of Zaporizhzhya."
This guide acts as a valuable source of information about the history of architectural sites of the city and serves more substantial argument in the case of "decommunisation" and the return of authentic names of toponyms.
