Reconditioning works, started in the winter, continue on the territory of buildings and dormitories of ZNU. Thus, in the 2nd university building is nearing completion of work on the modernization of staircase in the right wing of the building and current minor repairs and replacement of water pipes continue in dormitories №3 and №4.
Valentin Motsak, chief engineer of housekeeping department, noted that the forces of building repair team of their department today are aimed at the completion of reconditioning works taking place in the right wing of 2nd university building of ZNU. Workers carried out a large amount of repair work of the walls: plastering in woodworm style, painting of the walls, repair of stairs. In the end new plastic windows will be installed on the stair landings between floors. Works on repair and modernization of the staircases in the left wing of the building will be started after completion of the works and opening of the staircases of right wing for visitors. These works will be completed in spring and then workers will begin modernization of the entrance hall of the 1st floor.
