Presentation of Fulbright program of academic exchanges took place at Zaporizhzhya National University. It was held by Veronika Alexanych.
Our guest explained that there are great possibilities of Ukrainian integration into international scientific society and this program is one of them. According to Fulbright Graduate Student Program senior students and young instructors of Ukrainian higher educational establishments may receive a grant for receiving Master’s degree or for probation at American university. List of specialties is quite big.
Requirements for applicants :
- Ukrainian citizenship;
- higher education;
- knowledge of English;
- should return back to Ukraine for 2 years after the term of grant is over.
Besides the grant, that allows to study, contest winners will be given extra money to buy required literature, medical insurance and two-way tickets.
Those who would like to take part in the contest of 2006 should apply to Fulbright program’s office complete set of documents with filled questionnaire, three letters of recommendation, copy of diploma.
There will be three stages of selection: review of works by Ukrainian and American specialists, interview in English, testing and approving of recommended candidates.
