Representatives of ZNU became participants of international seminar «Ecological situation in Zaporizhzhya: intersectional partnership in controlling risk» that passed yesterday our city.
The seminar was organized by the agency of World Bank in Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya municipality, municipal department of ecology, Institute of hygiene and medical ecology, the Center of medical and ecological problems, Zaporizhzhya municipal and regional sanitar-epidemiological station, State ecologic inspectorate of Zaporizhzhya region, Municipal and regional department of security of health, Zaporizhzhya regional centre of hydrometeorology.
From the side of our University in the meeting took part the rector’s associate in educational work, candidate of biological sciences, associate professor of the chair general and applied ecology and zoology Nataliya Voronova and candidate of biological sciences, the associate professor of this chair Valerii Gorban and the head of the department of humane education and upbringing Olexij Fursa.
The main directions of work of the seminar became the investigation of effects of the project in calculating the risk and prospects of partnership in controlling the risk. The seminar was opened by the municipal chairman of Zaporizhzhya Evgen Kartashov, and then the first associate Minister of environmental security of Ukraine Svyatoslav Kurulenko, the first associate Minister of health security of Ukraine.
Also to participation in seminar invited the specialists of international agencies from security довкілля, several Ministries: The security of surrounding natural environment and security здоров_я, scientific establishments, industrial enterprises et cetera.
