On June 12-13 in Zaporizhzhya passed a consultative seminar of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine concerning realisation of "Program of development of the Olympic movement in Ukraine for 2005-2010".
On the first day of seminar the head of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration Evgen Chervonenko opened the meeting, the head of Zaporizhzhya regional council Olexandr Nefiodov, the municipal chairman Evgen Kartashov, the alternate of the minister of Ukraine in problems of family, youth and sport Viktor Khristoev, the head of the chair of directors of the plant “Motor-Sich”, the people's deputy of Ukraine Vyacheslav Boguslaev also greeted all present. After that press-conference of the president of NOC Sergij Bubka and of above-mentioned was held.
In the meeting participated representatives of ZNU – the rector Sergij Timchenko; the dean of the faculty of physical training of ZNU Mikola Malikov, the head of Sports club of ZNU Valerij Baranov.
On the second day the seminar was conducted in sections - «Activities of subjects of Olympic movement in Ukraine», «Defence of interests of Ukraine in international Olympic movement», «Popularization of Olympic movement in Ukraine», «Financial-economic development of Olympic movement» and others.
