Biography

From 1989 to 1994, she studied at Melitopol State Pedagogical University and obtained the qualification of "Teacher of Chemistry and Biology for Secondary School". After graduation, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology with a course in Chemistry at Zaporizhzhia National University and as a biology teacher at Zaporizhzhia Secondary School No. 63. In 2006, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation on the topic: "Continuity of Learning Forms in Secondary School and Higher Education as a Means of Didactic Adaptation of Students" at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University.

She has been working at the Faculty of Biology for 30 years, including 10 years as the Head of the Faculty's Scientific and Methodological Council. Since 2019, she has been the trade union representative of the Faculty of Biology.

A permanent member of the jury for the third stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Chemistry Olympiads, and since 2019, an expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance for the accreditation of educational programs in Chemistry and Secondary Education (by subject specialties). She was a jury member for the second and third rounds of the All-Ukrainian competition "Teacher of the Year – 2020" and "Teacher of the Year – 2025" in the "Chemistry" category.

She is the guarantor of the educational program "Secondary Education (Biology and Human Health)".

For her many years of dedicated work and high professionalism, she has been awarded Certificates of Appreciation and Honorary Diplomas from the administration of ZNU, a diploma from the District Administration of Zaporizhzhia City Council for the Oleksandrivskyi District, and a certificate from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine.

Scientific Work

Her research interests include: current issues in the professional training of bachelor's and master's students – future teachers of chemistry, biology, and health education; technologies for developing methodological competence in future science teachers; and teaching strategies for developing a system of chemical knowledge in higher education students.

She is the author and co-author of over 120 scientific and methodological publications on the adaptation of first-year students in natural science fields, the professional training of future teachers of chemistry, biology, and science, and the implementation of innovative technologies in the educational process of secondary and higher education institutions.

She actively participates in national and international scientific-practical conferences, roundtables, forums, methodological seminars, and webinars.

She leads the research project «Innovative Approaches to Teaching Natural and Health Education Subjects in Secondary and Higher Schools: Development and Effectiveness of Methodologies», registered with the Ukrainian Institute of Educational and Scientific Information (UkrINTEI).

She is also the head of the student research group «Professionalism of Future Teachers of Chemistry, Biology, and Health Education».

She has completed international internships:

2020 – «International Projects: Writing, Application, Management, and Reporting» (Łódź, Poland);

2025 – «Artificial Intelligence in Education: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities» (Instytut Rozwoju Edukacji i Nauki «Wiedza», Poland; International School «Academy of Pedagogical Creativity», Ukraine; Ukrainian Support Society «Maidan» e.V., Baden-Baden, Germany).

She served as a jury member for the 2nd regional round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, in the sections «Psychology» and «Pedagogy».
