Boika Olena Anatolievna was born in 1983. Candidate of Biological Sciences, lecturer of the department of landscape gardening and genetics. In 2005 she graduated with honors from the magistracy of Zaporizhzhya National University, and in 2016 she defended her Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 03.00.15 - "Genetics" on the topic "Inheritance and variability of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of plants of the genus Lunaria L." (scientific advisor Dr. Prof. Lyakh VO.) During her studies in the magistracy she received the scholarship of the Mayor of Zaporozhye. Since 2017 she has been acting as vice-dean of the biological faculty for international affairs.

The field of scientific interests covers botany, morphology, anatomy, taxonomy, physiology, biochemistry of plants, genetics, selection, ecology, soil science, wood science, landscape design, teaching methods of biological disciplines, professional English language. She has one textbook "Anatomy and Morphology of Rosin. Workshop "in collaboration with T. Peresipkina, 25 scientific articles, 10 educational-methodical editions and 1 patent for a utility model in co-authorship. Boyka O.A. has 2 samples for the registration of samples issued by the National Center for Genetic Resources of Ukraine (M. Kharkiv). Constantly takes part in international, all-Ukrainian, regional and university conferences. Freely speaks English and actively conducts work on the establishment of international cooperation.

She is a member of the Ukrainian Society of Genetics and Breeders and the Ukrainian Society of Plant Physiologists.
