Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance, Zaporizhzhya National University (Zaporizhzhia). Svitlana Kushnir has two higher educations - in the specialties "Accounting and Auditing" and "Jurisprudence".
Kushnir Svitlana began her career in 1999, in 2002-2012. She worked in the banking sector and has more than 10 years of experience in management positions.
Since 2013 Kushnir Svitlana has been teaching at Zaporizhzhya National University. In 2014, Kushnir Svitlana. defended her Ph.D. thesis in Economics and Enterprise Management. In 2020, she defended doctoral dissertation in the specialty 08.00.03 – Economics and Management of the National Economy and received the title of Doctor of Economic Sciences.
Kushnir Svitlana has a number of diplomas and awards in the banking sector and scientific work.
Currently, Kushnir Svitlana teaches a number of disciplines related to investment and banking.

In total, about 150 scientific and educational works have been published, including publications in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. Working as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Research, she was a co-organizer of the First All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Sustainable Development of the Economy on the Basis of Resource Efficiency" with the participation of teachers and students of higher educational institutions, heads of the banking sector, utilities, small and medium-sized businesses.
Kushnir Svitlana is the coordinator and teacher of the project «European integration and sustainable development of rural areas of Ukraine as a guarantee of ensuring food security in the conditions of post-war recovery» ERASMUS-JMO-2023-MODULE 101127828
