Cheverda Serhiy Serhiyovych is a graduate of Zaporizhzhya National University of the Faculty of Economics, majoring in Economic Cybernetics. In 2005 he received a master's degree in economics with honors. Since 2004, while studying, he worked part-time as a junior researcher at the Research Laboratory of Experimental Economics of ZNU.

In November 2005 he entered the target full-time graduate school, specialty 08.03.02 - economic and mathematical modeling. In December 2012 he defended his dissertation on the specialty 08.00.11 - Mathematical methods, models and information technology in economics on the topic "Forecasting world energy prices by methods of discrete nonlinear dynamics" under the guidance of Professor of Economic Cybernetics, Ph.D. Maksishko NK

In September 2005, he was hired as a junior researcher at the Research Laboratory of Experimental Economics of ZNU, where he continued his research.

Since September 2006 he has been working as an assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer and associate professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Zaporizhia National University.

In the period from 11/17/2014 по 17.12.2014р. passed advanced training at the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Cherkasy National University named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky, and also passed advanced training at the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Marketing Management of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" from "15" October 2018 to "15" April 2019 in total 120 hours, as well as advanced training (internship) from 10.05.2021. по 10.05.2021р. on the basis of ISMA University of Applied Sciences (ISMA) (Riga, Lakhna) with the support of the International Science Group, the internship program consisted of 3 modules with a total volume of 180 hours; advanced training on the basis of the enterprise LLC "AVED-soft" on the topic "Project management in an outsourcing company" from 07.06.2021 по 27.06.2021р.

From February 2016 to September 2018, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics for Academic Affairs.

Conducts lectures and laboratory classes on disciplines of the normative cycle: "Optimization methods and models", and on professionally-oriented: "Operations Research"; "Management of information projects", "Modern methods of modeling economic systems" and others.

Cheverda SS was awarded:

Diploma of the Rector of ZNU to the Day of Science, May 2013 (Order of 16.04.2013 № 30-v);

Thanks to the rector of ZNU "For fruitful work with gifted youth, a significant contribution to the development of student research work in 2015/2016 academic year. and on the occasion of the Day of Science "(Order of 27.04.2016 № 35-c);

Diploma of the district administration of Zaporizhia city council in Oleksandrivka district "For many years of hard work, fruitful and impeccable activity in the 2015-2016 school year, active public activity and on the occasion of the Day of Science."

Diploma of the Executive Committee of Zaporizhia City Council "For significant personal contribution to the development of education and science, training of highly qualified specialists and on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhia National University." 

Cheverda S.S. pays considerable attention to scientific work. Performs research in the scientific direction of the department "Discrete Mathematics and its application in economic and mathematical modeling", as well as in the research topic "Modeling of complex socio-economic systems by methods of discrete nonlinear dynamics and data mining" (state registration number 0115U006765 ). The results of scientific activity have been published in 60 works, including: 5 collective monographs, 4 articles in publications indexed in the leading international scientometric databases Web of Science and Scopus, 17 professional articles. Also Cheverda SS participated in research topics, namely: № 11/10 "Methods of nonlinear dynamics, principles of symmetry and discrete evolutionary models for finding optimal solutions in conditions of uncertainty", which was performed at the expense of the general fund of the state budget; № 9/12 "Development of mathematical software for analysis of flows and evaluation of economic efficiency of investment Internet projects", № 3/16 "Development of economic and mathematical tools for analysis of medical budget programs of the city taking into account the processes of self-organization of the population", which were performed by legal and physical persons (economic contracts).

Cheverda S.S. pays attention to the organization of student research. Under his leadership were prepared:

three works to participate in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of "Mathematical methods, models in economics", one of which in 2016 received a diploma of the second degree;

scientific work for the Prize of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration for gifted youth, which also won.
