Bashtannyk Oleh Ivanovych was born in Zaporizhzhia on November 11, 1951. In 1969 finished school № 56 in Zaporizhzhia, in 1974 graduated Zaporizhzhia Technical Institute ((at present time National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic"), received the qualification of a radio engineer. From 1974 to 1980 worked in the Design Bureau of Electrical Appliances (now JSC "Hartron") as programmer. Field of activity: design of equipment for space technology, analysis of electronic circuits with simulation programs. In 1980 - 1985 – Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering, USSR Academy of Sciences as programmer. Field of activity: creation of simulation programs for the agro-industrial complex, models of optimal planning of oil and gas exploration. In 1984 - 1985 used software package "Linear programming in automated control systems" for calculation of crop changes for land use problem. Science 1985 works in Zaporizhzhia National University at Department of Mathematics, Algebra and Geometry, Department of Economic Cybernetics as engineer, from 1995 as lecture concurrently. In 1987 - 1989 – development of programs for calculating the economic effect of the production of transformers, the calendar schedule for the construction of high-rise buildings. In 1989 - 1996 – development and implementation to over 100 banks information system "GBANK" for the automation of the financial operations. In 1997 - 2003 – development and implementation programs: "Finance", "Land", "Real Estate", "Population" for local council administrations. In 2005 - 2007 two projects ( "Village Council Information System", "Information and analytical system for resource management of the administrative district") were designed (state budget topic). Science 2003 take part in the development and maintenance of educational process management subsystems "Rectorate - Dean's Office - Department" in Zaporizhzhia National University, was administrator of this system. Science 2017 investigate the functioning of united territorial communities. Bashtannyk O. I. took part in scientific conferences, seminars, has 45 published abstracts and articles.

Internship and professional development:

1. In Augest-Оctober 2021 passed an internship on the basis of management structures of Stepnogorsk united territorial community.

2. In September-October 2022, he completed an internship at Zaporizhstal PJSC.

3. In November-December 2022, he took advanced training at the National University of "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic"

Research interests: information systems and technologies in economic and management, decision support system in territorial communities and region management. Work experience, development. Engineer-programmer from 1974 to 2010. Administrator of databases from 2011 to 2012. Take part in developments: MAEC – electronic circuit simulation and analysis system; System of the simulation modeling for the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnoyarsk region; Model of planning of oil and gas exploration in the Krasnoyarsk region; Software for calculating the economic effect of transformer production; Software for calculating the construction schedule of high-rise buildings; GBANK – automation of the financial operations; Project "Village Council Information System"; Project "Information and analytical system for resource management of the administrative district"; "Rectorate - Dean's Office - Department" – educational process management subsystems.
